Concert Sunday
If you’d been part of Storyline for a while, you already knew what a gift it was to have so many talented musicians in our community.
And if you’d been around long enough, you’d probably noticed that the music at Storyline didn’t always sound quite like what you might have expected to hear at church — which was one of the things we loved about it! At this past week’s Gathering, we revisited our annual Concert Sunday with a little twist.
This year, the morning featured stories from three songwriters who had long been a presence at Storyline—Morgan Ingle, Dan Deitrich, and Mike Koch.
Along the way, we also spent some time thinking about why art mattered — how music, creativity, and storytelling could help us connect with one another, make sense of our lives, and experience faith in new ways.
