Past Gatherings
Mothering
What if work was never meant to be something we simply survive, but something that helps us discover meaning, purpose, and calling? This past Sunday, at Storyline’s Gathering, we explored how God intended for work to be part of a good, growing life, and what it looks like to rediscover vocation in the middle of ordinary everyday work.
Vocation
What if work was never meant to be something we simply survive, but something that helps us discover meaning, purpose, and calling? Seen, Not Fixed
Leading up to Easter, and in the weeks since, we’ve been asking questions about perfection. And we've discovered that maybe God isn’t offering us an escape into a perfect paradise as much as an invitation into a good story—one that’s still unfolding, still growing, and not dependent on us getting everything right.
This past Sunday, at Storyline’s Gathering, we explored what that looks like in real life—through a story of grief, growth, and the unexpected ways we’re changed when we’re truly seen.
The Hope of Humility
So, if Easter is the invitation into God's good story, not a perfect paradise, but a growing garden where we are in the process of becoming... what does it look like to get in on that? This was the question we wondered about together this past Sunday morning at Storyline's Gathering.
The Problem with Perfect
Lately, we have been looking at the questions people have about life and about God. We often wonder what God thinks about us. Why does it feel like we have to be perfect to keep everyone, including God, happy? How good is good enough? We looked at the rules of God’s game and how we might be playing it wrong.
How Perfect Do We Need to Be?

Saints Among Us
This past Sunday, at Storyline’s Gathering, we celebrated “Saints Among Us.” Storyliners honored the saints among us who have made a tremendous difference in their lives.
Are We Enough?
We guard what we value and seal off what is dangerous. This past Sunday, at Storyline's Gathering, we explored the difference between a guarded heart and a sealed one, and how God's grace can bring life back to the places we've closed off.
Religion 2.0
We’ve been wondering together about some common questions. This past Sunday, at Storyline’s Gathering, we considered: what is religion for, anyway?
The God Problem
A famous philosopher once said, “he who has a Why can survive any how.” And Jesus seems to agree.
For the next few weeks, we are considering together some of the most important Why questions of life.
